I had hopes Godchaux would hold it down but teams are running all over him. Boyd isn’t any better and maybe worse. I know our roster isn’t great but Godchaux needs to hold the middle much better

I agree but Godchaux has been good at stopping the run his entire career. He’s essentially playing the same position here. Hes always taken double teams well and now I’m seeing him get pushed back by single blocks.

Our entire d line isn’t good enough. I think the lack of threat at edge rusher is more of an issue than at NT though. We aren’t great against the run but we don’t just get gashed repeatedly. We get zero pressure from edge though which effects the entire scheme

Godchaux might be running on fumes at this point in his career but he’s always been a great run defender but he isn’t a true nose tackle like Dexter Lawrence is for the Giants. I had hope Kristian Boyd would have been that guy.
