Well lsu has a pretty crazy 51% of its roster from the state of Louisiana (natural lsu fans) Alabama only has 16% from its state . It’s actually one of the highest instate recruits percentages in the country next closest is Ohio state at 47% . So yeah lol our roster is here out of love for the university it just helps now they make a few million.

To add onto that some schools who you might think have a higher percentage of in state kids ole piss has a 30% rate same with Mississippi state .

The Missouri linebackers coach has a history of recruiting players out of Theodore High School in Alabama. He recruited one of Bush's teammates just two seasons ago. Believe it or not, relationships still matter.

Honestly his senior tape is pretty lackluster. He’s playing safety and I’m not sure he wrapped up on a single tackle. He just kinda throws the back of his shoulder at their legs 
. Plus, the teams noted as going after him since the decommit were Mississippi State & Tulane. Maybe the potential they saw as a Jr isn’t coming to fruition 
Either way, we have plenty of young LBs to not have to overpay for a middle of the road linebacker who won’t see the field for 2 years.

Believe they're another UM. Regardless, you're correct. They're a consistently good program that produces pros and wins. They do more with less than we do. Those titles we have rightfully gloss over a lot of average to solid football teams. Without them we'd be looking up at Mizzou. At best equality. But we do have them.
