If Not Then My Hope Is:

After the 17th overtime period Tenn. wins because they had enough players that could still walk (dressed out the waterboy and one band member) and Alabama could not muster enough players and had to forfeit. Neither team would be able to practice the following week due to exhaustion thus Tenn. would be smashed by South Carolina and Alabama even with an open date to rest would be destroyed by LSU the following week. Neither team would be able to recover and both would loose all remaining SEC games.
