Kiffin is making a tough bed to sleep in.

This guy is making some tough enemies. 3 of the top 5 coaches in the country(arguably) in this league.
He's called out Saban and Meyer!! What a dummy.

This maneuver he pulled with JJ tells me he will be publicly calling out Les real soon.

Probably trying to build up fire in his own program and push out the recent evidence of the program's failure. Too bad he's picking on all the bullies who are bigger and stronger than hell ever be

You're an intelligent man
Exactly. And you know what? We're all talking about him, as is the national media, the other coaches in the SEC and next year's recruits.
The guy just took a program that has not been relevant in 5 years and put them back on everyone's tongues with one off-season. Some might call that brilliant. Playing the villain will never be understood by everyone.

Kiffin = young and stupid. He'll learn.

I just hope he realizes he does not have the horses to compete with the coaches he is calling out.
His players are going to hate him for it whenever next season gets here.

It could get ugly for Tenn this year

He should have learned from Tubby not to make everyone hate you. It has worked for exactly one guy for about 8 years and thats spurrier, and he mellowed out over time and was a freaking genius in right place at right time. Kiffin is none of the above.

Yea, and I posted this on another thread. You'd better be prepared to win in this league. SEC football...welcome Florida, Alabama, Auburn, and our LSU Tigers to your stadium. Better be ready to win if you want to continue playing!

Kiffin is showing is immaturity.
I didn't like how he called out Al Davis when he was introduced. Maybe al's isn't the most well respected owner, however, you take the high road publicly.
Now he is calling out myer in public. Not that he filed a complaint with the n.c.a.a., it's his words to e.s.p.n.
He may turn out to be the best coach. However, if i were a betting man, I see kiffin being fired in 3-4 years.
From what i have seen, he wont be a dicipline guy because he doesn't demonstrate dicipline. If his players take on his personality, look for tenn to become a major renegade program. Lots of bad publicity due to an undicipline program.
the world is round, what comes around go's around. He's not lending respect to others and in return the lack of respect will come to him as well.

Give him time. He may end up being a joke, or he may end up with a few rings on his finger.

Calling out Meyer for cheating is entirely different.

Kiffen is doing the right thing in his situation guys.
That's a program that expects to compete on a national level and Kiffen won't be able to satisfy those demands by laying to the big time coaches every time they go head to head. He's given his coaching staff, his fans, and his players evidence that he is willing to go out and compete against the UFs, the LSUs, and the Bama's of the world. Something he needed to do.
I don't know whether it will work out or not, but any other road would have failed.

His team is going to lose a lot of games, but it's not going to matter, just like it didn't matter that much to the program when Bama lost to ULM. Saban still pulled a sick recruiting class, and the program is in better shape than ever.
And if they win even one big SEC game, it's going to be a huge for them.
