On vacation out in California, Nevada, and Utah for the last couple of weeks. Visited a lot of National Parks. We tent camped a couple of spots. One was in Bryce Utah. The younger couple next to us were from France, around Paris.

After striking up a conversation, they told us they were both cops. The conversation turned to politics immediately after that.

The wife is an instructor I believe ( her English wasn’t great but better than my French) and her husband is a Motorcycle cop. And they are fed up! The immigration problem is as bad as reported and feel that a civil war is brewing. That it’s the only way they think they can survive as a nation.

It may/probably won’t happen because they don’t have guns, but it was a nice conversation to have and reinforce just how twisted and right we are about Europe. I really felt bad for them.

They were warned, but the EU shoved it down their throat. Their politicians sold them all out or are being black mailed.

But, it was considered hate speech and racist to have opposing views on the "refugees"

A civil war, might be the only thing that saves them.

They essentially let in a population that has no intention of assimulating into their culture and flat out is aggressive against, looking to over throw it.

The wife showed a video of her in riot gear doing crowd control in Paris. Only they didn’t gave any guns. WTF. SMH.

One of them has a grandmother draws a retirement check at about 900 euros a month. She said the immigrants draw 1200 from the gov’t and have never worked to earn any of it.

I was at a wedding in Europe this summer and bumped into a Swede that I hadn't seen in 15 years or so. I sort of gingerly prompted him to talk about the immigration situation there - kind of just assuming he would give me some pablum about "don't believe what you hear". But he went OFF. He said it's much worse than reported and that the high-trust culture of his youth has been entirely destroyed. All doors are locked everywhere - even in small towns - and there is legit fear of street crime. He had a young female in his orbit that had been violently attacked.

Not sure when that happened. I brought a pistol with me, and they were amazed I had brought one on the plane. They said they couldn’t own one.

Maybe it’s time to return some guns to France that we borrowed in our Revolution. But not to their government.

That’s what I experienced as well. I kind of dipped my toe in politics and they became animated. They were very vocal about just how frustrated they were.

I have friends in Germany that are my kids age. 30's. I went there a few months ago for a wedding. Talked to my friend and his brother in law. I don't know about the rest of them but they were both AfD.

They have to be, the generation before them sold them out completly by allowing this to happen.

All to not be racist.

With what, slingshots and kitchen knives?

They turned in their firearms, voluntarily, and forfeited their free speech while welcoming millions of savages into their country.

The U.K. is a lost cause.

They voted for what they're getting.

I encountered a guy from Poland when we were at Yosemite. He was with his wife and I offered to take both their pics with his camera. I asked where they were from and he said Poland. I told him that America was proud of them and they needed to keep holding the line in the EU. He was pretty proud that his country was being praised by an American.

I think there is a lot more AfD out there than people know.

Yes. But that just brings more in and that's a win.

I spent 4 days in Paris last summer. Every police officer walking around was carrying. Maybe it was heightened security for the Olympics, but there was no lack of firepower on the streets
