I just appreciate that someone is in a deer stand. Both on a macroeconomic level (it's deer season!!!) And on a microeconomic level (holy shite you got up in the dark to sit on a stand on a day where it's gonna be 90 degrees!).

But whatever happens, I appreciate the effort

Area 4
Still and muggy
Elite and a rage
Saddle on the edge of a pin oak flat
Had one blowing at me walking in and one blowing at me as soon as I got situated. Sounded like a train horn in this calm air.

Good luck fellas

I was surprised to see the Area 4 bag limit increase from 3 to 4. I wont need it but hoping thats based on increased herd numbers?

Lincoln County Ms
Ladder stand in some oaks. Deer were here at 6:15. I ran em off while walking in. Doe came up behind me stomped around but never blew at me. She walked off. Skeeters are on point, wearing my sweating butt out!

He never left the stand. Clearly lives in a tree

Sladder and Platform set up in a grove of persimmon that's being hammered
Mathews V3X 33 w/SEVR 2.0 Hybrids

This was a morning hunt for me. I was out of the tree by 10am since it was getting warm. I only had 1 doe come through but I'm after a pretty decent buck and don't want to blow my spot. The buck I'm after comes through this area every 1 to 3 days consistently so I'm hopeful I'll see him soon.

Yesterday I was on private and had 2 big does, a fawn, and a yearling next to me for about 30 minutes. It was my first time hunting that property so I wanted to see what was out there. I practiced drawing the bow back on the does but didn't let an arrow fly. My freezer is still plenty full so I'll hold off on does unless I start running low.

Shot a doe yesterday evening and jumped it while tracking so backed out and looked again this morning with no luck. Hate losing one.

Back at it this evening.
