I put this in the OT as well.
I have been doing woodworking as a hobby now since early 2000s. The last 12 years I have been on hiatus as my 2 boys were younger and making sure I attended their events. Now both are in college and I am getting back into the shop. I got into the hobby when I lived in B'ham area for 6 years which had a Woodcraft to get most of the things I needed.
I need to get some new bandsaw blades. I have a 14" Jet with 6" riser which the blades need to be 105". I can easily order some blades from the internet but wanted to see where others got their bandsaw blades locally. In the Baton Rouge area. Don't mind if I have to drive to Hammond.

PMC Machinery in Albany has almost everything you could need for woodworking.

I used to order blades from Fastenal back in the day. Quality was decent. I think there is one in the BR area.
Now I order my blades from Grizzly, which they do put out a better product than Fastenal.
Not sure of any other local places.

If you're doing resawing, then I'd recommend ordering Laguna Resaw King blades. I like them a lot for resawing. You might not find them locally, but you can order online. They are somewhat high, but worth it.
For standard 3/8-1/2" or smaller blades for radius cuts, I like Timberwolf or the ones at Highland Woodworking. Again, I don't know about your local area but you can easily order what you want. I've ordered Timberwolf from Grizzly and somewhere else online and Highland Woodworking's website is easy to use.

I order online for both the grizzly 19 inch I have and the bandsaw mills we have. PMC
is a cool store and has plenty of equipment. It’s just too easy to get online and cheaper. If you’re in the Natchez area look me up. We cut many hardwood logs. We might have something you can use

Ppro,
Thanks. May have to look you up. My oldest is going to a small Juco right now for baseball so we are traveling through Natchez a good bit right now.
With both my boys off to school, I got to get back in the shop to get away from the Mrs.

As others have suggested, PMC is probably the best choice.
I work on the south shore, and Southern Saw and Cutter in Harahan/Elmwood is another option.
