Also 4-1 in a year many thought Cumbie should have been fired last year. Any chance he's finally righting the ship?

They have 3 INTs returned and 2 fumble recoveries returned. Unfortunately they've also had a defensive TD called back due to a penalty also this year.

They’re much improved, but you can’t win games long term with defensive TDs. The offsense still needs a pretty big improvement for sustained success, but they’re certainly a much better football team this year, and the defense is legit

Agreed. Offense is still not where it needs to be, but it may be good enough to buy Cumbie another year.

Has there been any more word on Tech joining the Sun Belt? I just took a look at their schedule and what an abysmal group of teams they are forced to schedule each year. No wonder fan apathy is at an all time low, your home games are New Mexico State, Southern Miss, Western Kentucky, Sam Houston, and Liberty.

That's a super unfair comparison because they got the luxury of playing LSU's offense.

It’s unfortunate lsu’s offense had to face such formidable opponents.
