I’ve said it a million times, you can’t run an offense designed for a dual threat QB with a QB who is not a runner.

There are a number of things over BK’s tenure that have been seemingly obvious to fans before the staff.

Extremely Milesian and equally frustrating.

This is obvious to everyone except the coaching staff!

What does an offense that fits our personnel even look like?

Our OL can’t run block. Our QB won’t run and he’s not playing well in the passing game. He can’t hit the WR’s on deep routes. He’s throwing behind guys on slants (and got our best WR injured in the process). He’s throwing into triple coverage on intermediate stuff at the sidelines. The one thing he’s had some success with is the intermediate middle, but do you trust him throwing over the middle of the field right now?

I’d argue that what we are doing - screens, high % quick passes, WR runs, and swing passes - is playing to the strengths of our personnel right now. Hard to find an offensive identity when there’s so little that you actually do well.

Worst tight end group in some time, average at blocking and receiving

This exactly, with a dual threat athletic qb.

However , nobody has a clue what the identity of this offense is other than the "hype" that Nuss is some kind of passing threat. He isnt. Since Jan, BK had a chance to build on the offense in major areas of the running game and he didnt. Without running successfully , you dont have a passing threat that will execute every game.

This times a million. It’s absolutely baffling how someone coaching for 34 years is ok with running JD5’s style offense with QB18. Nuss NEEDS to be under center more and run a more “traditional” pro-style offense. OR, play Van Buren.

Play Van Buren. He’s athletic and at this point can make any throw that Nuss can.

Bama has an offense that fits our personnel, so let's get their playbook and run it. Alabama couldn't win with our playbook.
Stupid lack of creativity.
You have to dominate physically or trick the heck out of everybody. LSU does neither.
