The Two Step Inn music festival has announced it's lineup and opened ticket sales for it's fourth annual festival held in Georgetown, Tx.

The wife and I have gone each of the last two years (2024 & 2025), and will be headed back for the 3rd straight year. It is an awesome, well run event, with plenty of space, plenty of music, and plenty of delicious food and beer. Has anyone else gone before?

I’m sure it’s the guy who sings Randy Travis songs while AI changes it to Randy’s voice

I believe it is a tribute band consisting of Randy's original band and a guy named James Dupre standing in for Randy. Dupree sounds a lot like him.

It is one of those events that is so well run that we are ALWAYS considering going. After the first year we went (2024) we booked a fully refundable AirBnB for each weekend of April 2025 so that we KNEW we had a place to stay for the festival. The wife did that while we were driving back to Louisiana.

Did the same thing this year.

When they release the dates we keep that weekend and cancel the others. Then we wait until they release the lineup in September/October, if we don't like what we see, we can always cancel the AirBnB. So far though, the lineups have been awesome, filled will people we want to see that are new artists and 90s country superstars.

Country Music Hall of Fame member Randy Travis has announced additional dates for his “More Life Tour” in 2025! In the midst of a wildly successful Spring run, Travis, his original touring band, and special guest vocalist James Dupré are ready to bring this extraordinary musical experience to fans across the country. The tour promises an unforgettable journey through Travis' chart-topping hits, enhanced by video highlights from his celebrated career in music, film, and television. Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale Friday, March 7 at 10 a.m. venue local time at RandyTravis.com.

Although Travis does not perform vocally due to the effects of the stroke he survived in 2013, he does appear on stage with his wife, Mary, engaging with fans, interacting with the band, and celebrating the music throughout the show. Dupré and the band perform all of his iconic No. 1 hits, including “On the Other Hand,” “Forever and Ever, Amen,” and “Three Wooden Crosses.”

BigXThaPlug

Every year they have had a couple of artist that didn't fit the country genre, plus some DJ sets. This year they have the Goo Goo Dolls and BigXThaPlug.

It seems odd, but Ludacris in 2024 and Nelly in 2025 were pretty fun to see and had some really good crowds at their stages. Add in Skynyrd last year, and those non-country shows are pretty good.

Do you stay in Georgetown? We put in for Sunday tickets only, on wait list. Never been to that area.

Georgetown is awesome. Great downtown shopping and restaurants.

You can go west as that’s the start of the Hill country and they have pretty drives with hiking

2024 we got involved late and had to stay in Pflugerville (20 min). 2025 we stayed IN Georgetown. 2026 We will be in Georgetown.

Staying further away will save you in AirBnB costs, but if you plan to drink at the festival you either have to deal with the reality of the longer drive, or you have to pay peak pricing for Uber, and the Uber drivers are really going to bump it up on you if they have 40 minute round trips to get back, as it will limit the amount of fares they can do in one night.

IF you are driving, be aware that there is no parking at the venue, and no parking allowed in the neighborhoods. You will need to pay $25/day to park at one of the two local high schools which will provide a shuttle to and from the park where the festival is being held. In year's past they have had a parking location and shuttle available from downtown Austin as well, however I don't see that option this year.
