Not saying we can’t win if we score less than 30, but I feel if we are able to score 30+ points (more so for the ball control aspect of that point total) we are in as good of a spot as we can be with our defense. May be an obvious sentiment but I just don’t see a shootout.

On the flip side, if we end up giving up 30+ it will get very interesting because while I do think we are able to compete in a shootout, unfortunately Lane has a high probability of getting on a roll should they surpass 30 points on the board. QB hasn’t seen a defense like this in his life though so I’m still at the under all day.

shite timing as I’ll be working an event and won’t get to watch the game until I get home (hopefully by 11pm, thank God for YouTube TV) but by God am I pumped for this one..

I completely agree. We score 30 we win. I don't see our D giving up more than 21.

I'm confident we don't need 30. Maybe 24, at best. Our Defense is thought to be good, but after this game, we will be known to be Great.

I don’t get all the lane Kiffin hype all over this board. I’ve watched the guy for years, and never really been that impressed with him as a head coach. What the frick has he ever won or done at Ole Miss as a head coach? Literally nothing. I just don’t get it.

On paper, through his tenure, he’s the best coach they’ve ever had based on record and offensive production.

Post-integration, Ole Miss has won nothing of significance. They haven’t won the SEC in 53 years.

That said, he’s made them relevant. We are 2-2 in the last 4 against them. We haven’t won in Oxford since 2019.

He’s a legit coach that has grown up. They beat the hell out of the eventual SEC champ last year in Oxford.

Tomorrow will be another nail biter and LSU will be happy with a 1 point win.
