New season of Amazing Race starts tonight

Disappointing so far. This seems gimmicky and neutered. Only Europe. fricking weak

This season has also been spoiled to death. The boot order has been out for months.

Haven't watched yet but hate the casting for this season. One of the things Ive always enjoyed about the Amazing Race is that its common, every day people (For the most part).
This season it is a bunch of big brother attention whores who crave internet clicks like an addict craves heroin.
I hated when Derrick and Claire played and so Im not looking forward to an entire cast of that.
My assumption is that ratings have fallen off and they are trying anything to drive eyeballs.

Yes...it all seems very contrived with the utilization of sooooo many 'big brother' attention whores ! Casting 'every-day' people even if it HAD to include the MANDATORY 'rainbow flag' members, made for a far more interesting show !

You can tell that all of these people have learned to do everything in an attention-seeking way, way "over-the-top" behavior, just for clicks and likes.
They're all obnoxious, and I hate it. The Amazing Race has always been a favorite of mine, but I'm not sure that I'll continue this season.

Last season was probably my wife's and I's favorite season ever, we liked just about every team. They were almost all nice and relatable and just seemed like genuine and likeable people, no manufactured drama.
We always make a bet, pick our final 3 and first out halfway through the first episode. I wanted the dykes to be my first out, sooo much for that
Also the blonde influencer, holy shite her partner must be a saint, how insufferable she was.

It's sad to hear they have gone with the "celebrity" route, never like it when programs do that
