Just boarded a Delta flight from LaGuardia to Memphis- plane is full of fans headed to Oxford. Most have accents that sound like they are from the Parish…but definitely NE folks. Crazy how many from the NE have embraced SEC football.

I loved the game in Syracuse. A game in NYC would be great.

Now that we’re at a 9-game SEC schedule, I have zero interest in losing a home game to play an OOC team at an NFL stadium.

I took that flight back and forth last week for a board meeting in New Jersey. Memphis doesn’t have a lot of direct flights anymore since Northwest was bought out and Delta removed the hub there, so I jumped on it. But that ended up being a tiny little plane.

It wouldn’t be in NYC. It would be over in NJ. MetLife was within site of where my meeting was last week.
I know why they used to call it the Meadowlands now. That part of NJ looks like a big, flat field. You can see the NY skyline for miles.

Not that they would do it, but Yankee Stadium has hosted football games.

It was crazy how many people from the northeast and large midwestern cities that had kids at Clemson.
Met people from chicago, DC, and several other large cities who never had connection until their kids went there
