I’m worried we have to plan for 2 qbs

They are pretty similar is style. I don't think its that big

Chambliss and Simmons are similar players, so even if they use both we should be prepared. Not like last year against aTm where we were prepared for a pocket passer and got surprised by a runner.

We have the defensive depth and talent to be successful against any quarterback or offense in the country

They run the same offense with either. Only difference is that with Chambliss they'll go heavy a little more often than they will with Simmons. Their identity is slightly different with Simmons because the QB run isn't there quite as much with him, but the offensive structure is still the same.

I'm sure Baker is planning for both QBs.

Simmons is nowhere near 100% healthy with his ankle (and maybe hip?). I fully expect to only see him if Chambliss goes down.

I don't think LSU was "surprised" by a runner as much as they just sucked defending them. LSU certainly wasn't surprised by Milroe. Yet the defense made him look like Tecmo Bowl Bo Jackson as a runner. LSU just didn't have the dudes to stop running QBs with any consistency. Hell, Jackson Arnold ran for 75 yards vs. LSU.

Fair but I think it was especially apparent against aTm. Gameplanned all week for Weigman and then got thrown a curveball and couldn't adjust.

Have you watched out defense this year! They are elite. I would be worried if we had last years D.
