I have the Bubba Blade Cordless and I'm just not a fan of it. I think it's underpowered and the ergonomics are weird. Looking for recommendations. It's mostly used for Redfish and Trout. Thx.

Get a wired one for the most power. I like the rapala heavy duty. I don’t like any of the cordless ones.

However the best cordless one is the Rapala R12. So if you must get cordless then that is the one I recommend.

I replaced my electric knife with a wide bubba blade and now it's the only knife I use. Easy to keep sharp and busts through ribs pretty good.

This one.

The guides I've seen use battery powered reciprocating saws like this one.

Cuda and Rapala are the 2 best I’ve used.

I use a Kobalt Reciprocating Saw from Lowes with a Filetz Blade on it for Reds, Drum and Sheephead. Trout i use a Victorinox or Dexter.

Check out the Old Timer cordless knife; but use the Mister Twister blades. I have cleaned several hundred marsh bass, specks and 30-40 redfish without issues. Good unit for sub $100.
