Well if you look at the casting call it says "For every role, please submit qualified performers, without regard to ethnicity, sex, disability, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other basis protected by law unless otherwise specifically indicated.”

So far no characters with confirmed actors/actresses have been gender swapped from the books.

In the UK The Equality Act (2010) defines sex as a protected characteristic and makes it unlawful for employers to discriminate on this basis during recruitment and selection. This extends to casting for television, film, theatre, and other performances. Casting calls, therefore, cannot generally restrict applicants to a specific sex.

because the other thread was a false rumor and OP couldn't be bothered to fix it.

They have in fact not cast a woman as voldemort. they are still auditioning and per UK laws they cannot discriminate based on sex, therefore must allow men and women to audition even if it is a male role.
