This top 50 in the world tennis player is autistic. Listen to him speak. Look at him. Realize he is a world class athlete
Now you know why autism numbers are high today…..
It’s out of control. Everyone knew 100s of kids like him in any generation and it sure as shite wouldn’t be called anything other than maybe weird

There is a school for autism in BTR that can't support the demand. Stop downplaying autism.

my nephew is 14 and 5’11 180lb manchild
he is also completely non-verbal
my wife’s best friend has a 20 year old completely non-verbal son
both cases are brutal to experience
both sets of parents lives are completely dominated by caring for their autistic sons

Did they take Tylenol while pregnant? And if so, how often?

I had no direct contact with autistic people growing up in the 70s and 80s, but this is how we always envisioned autism. It was often touched on by tv series (White Shadow comes to mind) and a few made-for-TV movies. Now it seems like it’s just an excuse to give generally healthy, but socially awkward, people prescription drugs and a service dog.

Tom Stoltman: Three time World's Strongest Man......also autistic.
He's "autistic" to the point of being made some sort of poster child for it. He's at most an awkward introvert (initially, not really at all now) who has been immature for most of his career. What autism has been for him and those around him, his brother also competes in Strongman, is a built in excuse for every poor decision he makes or shitty interaction he has.
We've broadened the spectrum so wide that it now includes people like him and the guy in the OP. That not only artificially inflates the numbers, but also does a disservice to those coping with much more severe autism and the life that comes with it.

Autism isn’t one size fits all. It’s a spectrum. This guy is mild high functioning. Most people with autism aren’t as fortunate as him.
