Maybe I'm missing something, but I just saw a Top 25 list and they have Notre Dame listed at 24 and USC listed at 25.

N.D. has an 0-2 record and USC has a 3-0 record with N.D. being the ONLY team in the top 25 with a losing record.

That's the kind of love that gets them a good bowl game even when they go 6-5.

Have you paid any attention to college football ever? The media always props up ND

I can just about guarantee I've been following college football WAY longer than you. At age 72 and a life-long football fan, I've been watching since the likes of Ara Parseghian, Woody Hayes, Bear Bryant, Frank Broyles, Johnny Vaught and company walked the sidelines of their respective teams.

Why do you think I made the comment N.D. gets good bowl games with 6-5 records???? I saw similar happen many years and 8-3 teams sitting at home watching.

Is Notre Dame still a ratings draw?

They’re unranked on 25 pollsters ballots.

Attention whore Koki Riley has them at #10, but they’re still 100 pts over #25 USC. They will lose again & be irrelevant this season. Good karma for the Freeman > Brian Kelly crowd

They have to keep them there to put them in the playoffs if they win the rest of their games.

The same people complaining about ND being ranked still are also saying Tennessee shouldn't have dropped in the rankings when they lost at home to UGA.

Can't have them both since ND went on the road to a team currently in the top 5 and lost on a last minute field goal and then lost to a top 15 ranked SEC team again in the last minute.

We shouldn’t have rankings until at least week 5, preseason bias and rankings create false narratives that are then used to prop up teams all season. Moving teams up and down based upon the quality of wins/losses vs teams that were only ranked where they were based on nonsensical preseason preconceived notions is absurd.

The 1969 LSU Tigers sat at home when the cotton bowl took ND. LSU would have had a great shot at winning that game.

You must be scared of a handsome black head coach.
