Yes, it is. It isn't attached to his leg like a splint. Notice how one leg is not bending nearly as much as the other?

Okay so the rifle in the pants is a definite possible. From photos it looks like his phone prints in his pocket and my jeans matched that. The rifle does print a lot but my scope is much larger than what he had. Barrel at my ankle, the butt comes up even with my belly button. My walk feel exactly what it looks like in that video.
Conclusive proof? Maybe not. But definitely maybe.

I don’t think you can take down a gun like that with a screwdriver. It looks just like my Savage and that ain’t happening.
