The two wins?

1. 2-10 Mississippi State in 2024
2. 5-7 South Carolina in 2023

We about to boat race them

I think you missed the 41-24 win at College Station in 2022. That was a 5-7 (2-6) A&M team though.

Eh, I’m confident we will win. They’ve had a lot of close losses on the road

Now THAT is a statistic

Edit: Actually this is wrong - Billy is 3-7 in true road SEC games.

2022

L 33-38 @ Tennessee (11-2)
W 41-24 @ Texas A&M (5-7)
L 24-31 @ Vanderbilt (5-7)

2023

L 14-33 @ Kentucky (7-6)
W 41-39 @ USCe (5-7)
L 35-52 @ LSU (10-3)
L 31-33 @ Missouri (11-2)

2024

W 45-28 @ Mississippi State (2-10)
L 17-23 (OT) @ Tennessee (10-3)
L 17-49 @ Texas (13-3) - they were on their 3rd string QB in this game

Really not that bad when you zoom out. A few close calls against top tier teams.

Either Lagway comes out slinging the ball and catches us off guard & we lose an aggravating game like 2016 or 2023 againsts UF

or

We boat race them by 4 TDs. I can’t predict any middle ground

Which means absolutely nothing in 2025.

It's incredible the amount of run he and Florida got off of two wins (Ole Miss and LSU) last year. The fans went from wanting to fire Napier so bad that they were willing to sacrifice the basketball coach (good thing that plan failed) to get the AD fired so Napier could be fired, to thinking Florida/Napier were ready to compete for a CFP spot. They totally ignored the previous 2.5 seasons worth of futility over TWO games. Because of that, the USF loss came as a "shock" when, in reality, it should have surprised no one.

One of the weirdest LSU games ever. Also was one of the few times where I was 100% confident we would win until after the last play. That game sucked and cost us a Sugar Bowl.

Don’t know how Orgeron got the job after that loss. I was there

Just play the game. When we lost to Alabama in the NC we on paper were the better team.

The "middle ground" is exactly what the series has looked like in the last 7 meetings in BR.

The only time LSU "boat raced" Florida was in 2011. So it's very unlikely that will happen. But in the last 7 meetings in Tiger Stadium LSU is 6-1 with an average margin of victory of 14 points.

At best, LSU and Alabama were even. LSU won the first game that easily could have gone the other way (Alabama missed multiple FGs and had an incredible interception on what looked like a pass to the LSU 1 yard line). Them beating LSU in the championship game was no surprise at all. Alabama changed their approach for that game from what they did in the first one. Les, in his infinite wisdom, just figured he could roll out the exact same plan and get a win.
