DAT 9/11. Astros (Javier) at Blue Jays (Gausman) 2:07

Pressly texted me back last night (I still don't know how he got my number) and confirmed that the bag o' dicks could be shipped across international borders and that it was received by Abreu just shortly before first pitch last night. Yainer was also seen hovering around the bag. Nothing beats a well-timed and well-placed bag o' dicks...
Meanwhile,
The good ol' boys are looking for their first 2-game winning streak since August 28-29.
Time to go get 'em Astros or something.

Gausman's W/L record doesn't reflect how good of a season he's had. I'd be shocked if we scored more than 2 runs
He's given up 2ER or less in 5 of his last 6 starts

This is exactly when the Astros tend to drop a 10 spot.

Exactly, Astros do well against middling and better starters.
Now, if Gausman had a string of 8 starts allowing more than 9 runs per outing, I'd say the Astros would get shutout tonight.

The Astros have generally gotten in Goose's arse over his career, 5.13 career ERA and got him for 4 ER earlier this year.
But with how this group is going, he'll go 6+ with 2 ER on 8 hits and 5 K especially with how poorly this team is hitting fastball/split/change guys. Unless by some stroke of God Yordan is able to come up with multiple runners on for once.

Yeah, Gausman doesn’t scare me here.
Watching some of these better pitchers throwing anything near the zone on an 0-1 count when it was swinging at a ball the bat couldn’t reach gives me hope that there are pitchers in this league way more stupid than our piranha-like snappers holding 30 odd inch sticks

If tweet fails to load, click here. This lineup and the construction of it ain’t working for me, dog.

At least they put Correa directly behind Yed. The unfortunate offshoot of that is Altuve batting 4th.

Altuve needed another day off. I expect Jake to get in as pinch hitter sometime in the game. Also maybe more Urias at second.

Toronto’s roof is open? That’s allowed? Does Crane know?

Can you lose 2-of-3 your way to October? Stay tuned to find out.

Incapable of carrying any momentum over.
Whatever, it was a good long run in sole possession of first, just try not to get perfect game'd

Get Jose Altuve to the fricking 9 hole. It is ASININE he's taking these at bats with runners on.
Posted on 9/11/25 at 3:03 pm to Off McVoy
Altuve is bound and determined to bring this team to third place all by himself.
