White House vows accountability after Charlotte Metro murder

I like it.

The murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on the Charlotte Metro last month has sparked federal attention from FBI Director Kash Patel and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, who say the case is under federal investigation and will have implications far beyond North Carolina.
Patel says the FBI has been investigating the Charlotte train tragedy "from day one" and even hinted that new developments could be released soon. "Stay tuned," he added to a social media post on X, suggesting that the federal probe could reveal more than what has been disclosed thus far.
Duffy also took to social media to announce that the agency is launching an investigation of its own into how the Charlotte transit system failed to protect Iryna Zarutska.
Duffy’s announcement is tied directly to a recent message from President Donald Trump’s "zero tolerance" message regarding crime.
FBI Director Kash Patel says the FBI has been investigating the Charlotte train tragedy "from day one" (House Committee on Appropriations )
"If mayors can’t keep their trains and buses safe, they don’t deserve the taxpayers’ money," Duffy said in a statement. "@USDOT will be investigating Charlotte over its failure to protect Iryna Zarutska. And we will also be looking at other crime-ridden cities across the country."
His message was accentuated by a statement from the White House, signed by POTUS himself, saying he viewed the crime footage and demanded accountability.
"I have seen the horrific video of a beautiful, young Ukrainian refugee, who came to America to escape the vicious War in Ukraine, and was innocently riding the Metro in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she was brutally ambushed by a mentally deranged lunatic. The perpetrator was a well known career criminal, who had been previously arrested and released on CASHLESS BAIL in January, a total of 14 TIMES. What the hell was he doing riding the train, and walking the streets? Criminals like this need to be LOCKED UP," a post on the White House X account said.

Federal death penalty a thing? He supposedly said “I got the white girl” or something like that afterward.
The big problem is that the savage should have been locked up to begin with.

They seem to have video evidence, seems open and shut case

From a transportation angle, part of the problem with the Charlotte light rail is that it operates on the honor system. There are no turnstiles or ticket agents. You are on your honor to buy a ticket from the machine and keep it in your pocket. Sure every now and then police hop on the train and make people show their ticket or face a fine/arrest but generally it's pretty easy for transients and thugs to ride around free of charge. At least bums and psych cases have to pay something to hop on the subways in other major metros.

Yep. There were about 12 judges that let him go. I guess they told him :"you be a good boy now, OK?"

I hope that's not just words

The video was a pretty remarkable insight into the current state of humanity.
That pretty little white girl got brutally murdered right in front of dozens of onlookers who saw the whole thing and they did less than nothing. Most of them, you wouldn't even have known they had witnessed any kind of unusual event at all, let alone a bloody unprovoked murder. Is this the result of Operation Mockingbird convincing people that whites are a subhuman and debased form of life? I believe there's an argument to be made.
The reaction of the onlookers, to me, was just as sad, shocking and infuriating as the brutal murder itself. They all should have a spot reserved for themselves in hell, because that's where they belong.
I hope the system puts that dred-headed simian to death and he is drawn and quartered.

Maybe homeboy shouldn't have even been on that train...? Maybe he's acted up on there before and should have been denied the ride. Maybe he didn't purchase his ride?

Its an emotional overreaction and should be handled locally. No need in the feds overstepping their boundaries.
I'm pretty much tired of the whining about lack of media coverage, I've seen plenty of it.

This was a Ukrainian National... the implications of that alone are more far reaching than "local".

Its a local crime with local jurisdiction.
Let them handle it.

This is why the MSM and that mayor wanted to hide it.
Now their whole operation is about to be exposed.

There's a thousand other reasons not to give federal money to certain cities, but I don't blame the mayor. I blame the judges and prosecutors who knew this thug was a gigantic pile of shite yet let him walk amongst the innocent.
This soft on crime BS has to stop, and it starts with sending criminals to prison where they absolutely belong.

Which is s problem for the people who live in the city limits, not those in DC.
Using activist government for social progress is very progressive. I suppose "states rights died in 1860?

They handle crime=they continue to get federal funding.
They continue to not handle it=they get cut off.
It's that simple.
