Deer feeders - making a corn pile

I searched and couldn’t find anyone recently discussing feeders like you do with tractors, guns, and trucks.
I’ve always hanged my feeders up real high due to fears of bears, but I never have seen one on camera at this place. I need a new feeder and there’s no good tree to hang it from. Thinking of doing a big tripod with a winch or maybe one of those short stubby tank looking things. Any opinions?
Also I’ve used Moultrie parts in the past but damn they break. Motors seize up. Timer screens go out. Is wild game a decent value brand? What about game winner? Boss Buck? Should I go with another brand like the tanks they sell at bucees like All Seasons Feeders?
It doesn’t need to be fancy, but it needs to work and to be raccoon proof and hog proof. I can add tack strips and barbed wire for the coons if needed.

I just bought a 400lb Treeline gravity feeder from tractor supply and it is heavier duty than I thought it would be. Seems like a quality built feeder and they do make spin feeders. Have a boss buck but the squirrels are chewing the lid and had to replace the spout due to them chewing it up so I’m going with metal moving forward.

Do not buy wildgame, Moultrie feeders are good, but you have to plan ahead and understand a few things. Put them in an opening, not around trees that squirrels have easy access too. Use a varmit guard. Hand spray some rhino liner on the top and the lids. T-post x 2 legs and secure with a strap, or galvanized wire. I have bears and hogs, with hogs being the worst as far as damage. Use the AA small feeder timer/motors ( about $49) and use good, non-corrosive batteries and don’t leave them in over 4 months, cheap batteries will corrode and ruin the electronic circuit.Of course, my all welds are just the best, but also 5 x the cost of the Moultries. If you can get a year out of the wildgame feeders, you did well, as I haven’t…

Spin tech makes a 300lb galvanized with an internal motor. Tray drops down when throwing and picks up when its finished. Nothing for coons to get to. I've had one hooked up to solar throwing every day for 5 years. I've only had to replace the battery once.
Tray is beginning to fall and stay open a bit. A few washers will fix it.

The squirrels do a number on my Moultrie. I bring JB Steelstick epoxy putty with me every time I fill it to plug the holes they're gnawing.

We use OnTime feeders, they have all kinds.
The motors are simple and they will rebuild/or replace any that go bad.
And they are a Louisiana Company based in Ruston.

I've used moultrie with good success.
Since probably 1999 or 2000, I'm on my 2nd 30 gallon drum (top rusted out), and 3rd spinning mechanism (they just give out after a decade or so it seems).
As others have mentioned, mine is in a clearing 30 yards from the nearest tree. This seems to cut down on squirrels and coons messing with it.
