If I'm looking at this right, Tech was 12th last year in total defense and like 26th in scoring defense.

Yeah yeah I know it was against small schools, but still. Chill

They played tough and hit the shite out of our players.

Tech was predicted to finish top 3 in Conference USA this year. And I simply point that out to note that we didn't play a terrible football team Saturday.

Now if we go out there in 2 weeks and beat Southeastern by only 2 touchdowns, we have something more to bitch about.

That one hit on Zavion close to the East sidelines was brutal. I thought for sure Thomas would be concussed.

NIL can be an equalizer (ish).

Chip on shoulder, too.

LSU football off gas pedal following national
Spotlight game 1 did not help.

At least it turned out better that 2003 Florida game.

They're a solid squad, we knew what we were in for. That being said, we still should've beaten them at least 27-0.

All good though, time to get Florida hate week ramped up. If only Florida were still ranked...

I mean this was a rare opportunity to for them to get noticed as well. Of course they are gonna play hard.

I still however believe LSU played a lazy game, coaching and execution both.

You can manipulate the numbers to say what you want - politicians do it all the time - but the reality is our OL is horrible and the OL coaches should be held accountable. LSU has too much OL talent to struggle against a middle of the road team from Conference USA!

Their tackling in space was flat out tremendous too I can’t lie. A lot of plays we should’ve broke open they made the tackle

They shutout Southeastern the week before and Southeastern put up 45 on Murray State Saturday. I think their defense was a little stronger than we give them credit for.
