I can’t wrap my head around this…the Saints gave the start to Rattler and lost.

The 0-8 QB is NOT the problem.

Put into proper context, see how silly that sounds? How does this guy have defenders? I swear he must have dirt on all of you.

How many more losses will the Saints need to have with him starting at QB before you finally admit that QB IS the problem?

Rattler isn’t very good but he’s saying it’s a moot point anyway because the entire team sucks and it wouldn’t matter who plays quarterback.

Game should have at the very least went to OT. Rattler threw a seed to Johnson that he HAS to catch. Rattler can't throw it & catch it too. The offensive line penalties had nothing to do with him either.

You’re right. This is the Not For Long league. As in 0-8 QB’s are Not For Long in this league.

Speaking of which, how many QB’s are 0-8 and still have jobs in the NFL?

I’ll give you one guess…

Besides Troy Aikman, has any QB had a career start with that many consecutive losses (so, Peyton Manning doesn't qualify) and still go on to success?

Unfortunately, even though this game wasn't all on him, you have to take that into consideration.

No.
The qb is not the problem.
The qb played well enough in the 2nd half to win. Dropped catches. Penalties. Missed short kicks. Poor clock management. Mental errors etc..

0-8.

Maybe this game is on him. Maybe it isn’t.

0-8.

How many of the other games were not on him and why?

0-8…across two coaching staffs (not including interim staff).

0-8.

Whatever the answer is, it isn’t the guy who is 0-8.

Grupe misses kick 3 points
Juwan misses an easy game tying TD. What on earth did they give him all of that money in the off-season for? 7 points

I don't expect perfect every game. But today's lost was not on Rattler at all. He did exactly what I expect him to do all season. Manage the game and make plays when needed.

Saints will be a lot more competitive than some of you think this year.

A loss next week puts Rattler in elite company…he’d be in a tie with Dan Orlovsky for worst NFL QB W/L record before winning his first game. Mr. Orlovsky took 10 games to get his first win (and it happened with his third team at that point).

Having failed as an NFL QB, Mr. Orlovsky is now an ESPN analyst. Maybe it’s time for Rattler to start looking to take his career in that direction.

For the record, I believe Aikman lost 11.
