I’m not quite understanding how the big money head coach can say in a press conference that he was out coached by a child that barely makes $100,000 (I really don’t know what he makes)? And if he’s talking about his assistants, isn’t that HIS job? I mean when does he just say “I was out coached. I am clueless on how to get a team ready to play in an actual game, and I don’t know how to call plays”? Because that’s what I heard when he said he was out coached.

I’m trying desperately not to hate this dude, but he’s definitely not making me like him with his vague blame game.

At least he didn't blame the players...

Sounds to me like he took responsibility for not having the team ready.

It’s his way of not throwing his players under the bus publicly. They’ll get plenty of fussin’ in the film room.

I think he’s got it all figured out.

He has to coach them better.

He’s talking about OL coaching. Davis, Atkins, whoever.

It's hard to watch the defense be so amazing, and the offense struggle, after last few years it's been the opposite. The man just can't get it right. And a man who makes $10 million a year and can't get it right after 4 years is pathetic.

It's amazing post like these get downvoted. Every time someone post facts, it gets downvoted. 3 years we've had offense and no defense. Now no offense and we have a defense. Kelly thus far hasn't been able to field a complete team.

He’s trying to tell you that we’re a lot better than we showed last night and that the team wasn’t really up for the game. And he’s taking responsibility for that. We just beat an average team by 16 points, and we were up 20 when the game was essentially over. The fact that some are whining about this is a sign of how far Kelly has brought the program.

What do you want him to say? Throw players under the bus? Tell the reporter next question? Nothing wrong with holding you and the assistants accountable.

I’d rather him be more specific. What does he actually mean? To whom was that comment directed? If it was him, why didn’t he just say that he sucks at his job that he’s paid to do. Because that’s what I hear from his vague arse excuse.

This happens 3-4 times a year. Same response. For what he is being paid, he needs to suck less and stop being out coached.

To be fair, I would rather him be direct behind closed doors. Most likely what is happening today. Nothing positive would come from blasting anybody in the post game.

It’s at least 2-3 times a year along with no in game adjustments cost LsU2 games minimum.

Money doesn’t determine who comes up with a better x and o’s game. 3-3 stack is nasty against the run anyway and they were doing some really cool stuff with it. Props to Tech for giving themselves a chance

So if he thinks they were out coached, he should just lie about it and tell us what we saw with our eyes didn’t happen?

You’ve been watching Trump too long.
