can be ranked 11th and likely to the playoffs at 2 similar level schools....if he was in the sec with this attack 4-5 losses

There must not be bars in Illinois

By all accounts Bert is no longe a fricking Lush and showing up drunk to recruiting dinners and losing 5* recruits because of it and calling assistants at 2-3 am to come drive him home from bars.
Perhaps having a kid changed that. His wife also seems to no longer be voicing her idiotic opinions in social media... Which is a good thing.
Bert was always a decent-average coach, but being decent at Illinois and the big 10 means you can win 8-11 games per year. In the SEC west, it meant 6-6 to 4-8

Lots of low IQ southern Bubba takes in here. No wonder why the north skull fricked the confederacy.

Illinois is basically this year’s Indiana
There will be one from the big10 every year based on the luck of the schedule

I mean it’s true. They play no one worth a shite other than OSU. Just like Indiana last year. Probably don’t even have to keep it close and can get in the playoff at 11-1 after getting blown out in the Big10 title game.
They play two teams that finished in the top half of the big 10 last year.

Not sure it's mad so much as just pointing out the reality of the situation.
The B10 is undeniably as good at the top of the conference, but the mid / lower teams in the conference are weaker than the SEC at current.
The top 15 type teams will get there in both conferences assuming average scheduling luck, but the current mid / lower teams in the B10 make it significantly more likely that a top 20-30 caliber B10 team makes the postseason assuming average scheduling luck.
ETA: I do think Illinois 2025 is probably closer to top 10-20 than top 20-30 though. That's a good Duke team they beat on the road, even though the final score isn't remotely representative.
