What pack are you using? I currently just have the tethrd predator pack with shoulder straps and strap my sticks to it. Very minimalist but i think for longer sits i want to carry in more stuff like phone battery, snacks, etc.
What are yall using? What would you get instead?

When I'm not worried about packing meat out I use the Trophyline Platow. I can fit binos, extra jacket, water, snacks, etc in it. I strap my stick and rope to the underside of it. The platform buckles above the back high on your shoulders.

I use the Asio gear bowhunting pack. The material is quiet and its waterproof. Holds my sticks and platform pretty easily.

How many sticks do you carry and how high can you get ?
I hunt out of a climber a good bit and like to get 20+ feet

For saddle hunting on our lease where I can get the deer with an atv, I bought a Tidewe bag that has a meat shelf an internal frame. I wear my saddle in and the sticks and platform go on the meat shelf. The bag has multiple compartments for all the essentials and multiple strap options for attaching cold weather gear when needed.
I use a mystery ranch popup 38 if I’m saddle hunting on public land where it’s more likely I’d be packing the meat out.
Whatever bag you end up choosing, it takes some trial and error to figure best way to get it organized for carrying your gear and what you like and dislike about it, once in the tree.

Ive got 4 of the tethrd skeletors. I can easily get to 20 without step aiders. Usually 22-25. Ive got a long stride though.

How tall are you? I'm a short lil fricker (taller than Mingo, though) and could only get about 15 ft with 4 sticks/no aiders unless I got acrobatic with it. I now one stick and can get 30 ft if thats where the cover is.

I bought a Kuiu Venture Divide 2000 last season. It’s perfect. My platform fits on the divide pouch perfectly and my sticks strap to the bottom of the pack. Wish I would’ve bought it sooner.

I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on a Latitude Ranger 22 but keep balking at the $240 price. Currently using a Kuiu Divide 1500 that I basically got for free at the SCI show that I can finagle the sticks and platform onto

You won’t regret it. I’ve tried a few different packs over the years and it’s by far my favorite. I also bought an EOP pack from TX5 right before latitude bought them out, which is basically the ranger 11. The 11 is good for early season when you’re not packing extra clothes, calls, battery bank, and snacks to get you through all day sits.
The 22 is big enough to pack all that, but still a relatively small pack. I used an eberlestock x2 before and it was too big and bulky for me. In Missouri, and the late season, I pack 4 sticks, platform, knee pads, all my miscellaneous stuff, base layers inside the pack if it’s a real far walk, and still have room on the outside to strap my bibs and jacket. I even managed to fit a pair of moccasins to change into on the really cold days.
