It was concerning that they didn’t show 1 replay down the sideline on that run. I kept waiting, but nothing…

In the stadium the referee cited there was a receiver in the area. Not defending the call, but that’s what he said

They definitely had some questionable moments. There was a PI call in the first half that happened right in front of the sideline ref and he didn't call anything. Then the flag came from the ref from the middle of the field deep almost in the endzone iirc. It was obvious PI and yes, they ultimately got it right but like I said it happened right in front of the sideline ref and he didn't throw his flag. Definitely a few questionable moments.

Ball would still have to go past the LOS.
It was textbook grounding and would have killed that drive.

I screamed replay in the game thread. The NFL ignores replay too when it’s convenient.

On the replay, Kelly is asking the ref why there was no Grounding and you can hear the PA announcer in the background start to talk about it, then the broadcast cuts to Kelly hitting the table after the USC game.

It didn’t matter if he was. The ball didn’t get to the line of scrimmage and the only players in the area were like 3 LSU defenders. Clearly grounding.
