not similar at all

That record will not be touched. Kobe could finish his career with maybe 10 60pt games and that will probably be the closest anybody will get.

DiMaggios 56 game hitting streak. Now they hardly even play in 56 games in a row.

There are a bunch that will never be broken. I was just pointing out 1. UCLA'S 88 game winning streak, AND 7 straight NC'S!! The Pistol's 44.2 ppg in college, Byron Nelson winning 12 straight tourneys, and so on.

Pete Maravich's all time NCAA career scoring. He leads with 3,667 points, an average of 44.2 points for 83 games.

Cal Ripkin's won't be broken IMO. I'd be surprised if someone breaks Bonds HR record for a single season, with the way performance enhancers will be treated from now one. Wilt's 100 point game.
