What do we all think of the captain patches on the jerseys?

I think with the new permanent captain position implemented this season they could finally add the "C" patch. I don't mind it at all, it's tasteful, but I don't recall past LSU teams ever having that patch sewn on the jersey.
Do y'all know if this is something CBK brought from ND since they have a similar patch too?

Let the leaders be known and let them be proud to be team captains!
The cream always rises to the top and this is definitely true with our leadership on this team! This is what we have lacked the last few years.

The concept is solid, and the patch isn’t novel. I’d just question excess. How many captains? Because, It’s silly when schools seemingly issue the patches to every senior, or the top player for each position.

Its not really new. This might be the first time they have exactly worded it like that, But they have always kind of recognized Senior captains as captains at events years after their playing days. LSU even gave former captains free tickets when they ended the bowl drought in 1995 and went to the Independence bowl.
