Four teams in top ten ranked ahead of LSU lose. Texas, Clemson, Notre Dame, Alabama.

Just think losing to the #3 team on the road while you’re #1 doesn’t warrant a massive drop in rankings. I know they looked pretty bad but I think Texas will be given the benefit of the doubt.

The rankings were preseason rankings. Pollsters are usually more willing to make more dramatic drops and rises after week 1 than later in the season. We're pretty much guaranteed 3rd or 4th, and we'll probably get a few 1st place votes.

No, but it in no way makes you better than the team that beat #4 on the road.
I know you're just playing devils advocate so i'm not debating you, I'm just saying just in case the pollsters consult TD for advice.
