The craziest part about last night

It's a whole thing, we're like tough as nails, aggressive...not charmin soft like we've been. I'm like you, to have this kind of defense back is amazing

We damn near shut them out. They made a FG off a turnover and then we had them stopped 4th and goal but the runningback made a great effort.

Defense had complete control

Watching Perkins close on the QB to end the game was a thing of beauty.

We actually have a defense. JD5 wishes he had a defense when he played.

The body language.....did you all notice it? My concern was not talent - I knew we had that. It was, could these guys play together. Did you all notice the calm and composure. It was OBVIOUS.

There will be a couple of games this year where the defense gets burned. This ain't 2003 anymore and no defense is gonna shut down every team anymore, that's just a fact.

But this defense is special, the talent is there and they are on the same page.

I agree. Watching Perk he looks better than he did when he was terrorizing backfields. He is going to shoot up the draft if he continues.

Same here North. Our D just looked so calm and composed. and when we threw that formation on them it was like they were frickin lost. It was a thing of beauty.

That second half, when Haulcy took over at Safety. Man… the Defense had an entirely new swagger and focus. They just shut everything down. I was impressed in the first half. But then, it was just different with him on the field.
