Give your breakdown after last night

Here’s mine:
LSU showcased there depth and talent everywhere. Was able to run the ball creatively with a new OL, and over time wore down Clemson keeping them on the field.
Secondary is elite. Delane is a true lockdown corner and Pickett is gonna be getting close to that with more reps. We have Woodland as well who might have shined the brightest last night.
DL has got so many bodies they just rotated guys back and forth and beat Clemson down.
The speed of the LBs is insane. Dual threat QBs have to fear Perkins spying them. Weeks bros have great chemistry and are flying around the field.
At WR we have so much talent there I think each game we see someone different step up and have there night.
Nuss did not throw for a million yards but was very smart in his reads and making the right plays. Even saw him run a couple times. Treydez needs more opportunities grouped with the WRs.
BK had an excellent 2nd half game plan and LSU for the most part looked prepared and ready to go. Some unlucky breaks and bad calls really made it seem this game was close, but in reality this was a dominant win and a win that puts a lot of people on notice

I'd add our safeties aren't afraid of contact.

Take care of ball security and LSU runs away from Clemson in the 2nd half. Turnovers kept it close. Including turnover on downs. Take the damn points!

OL and Nuss need to build more trust. There were some instances of Nuss back pedaling away from the pressure instead of stepping up and letting his guys protect him.
Running game needs to start clicking in the 1Q. It’s clear that the offense is designed to operate off of running the ball, but when it isn’t working the whole system bogs down.
WRs are obviously talented, but they are being limited by play calling. They aren’t the turn and burn types that will outrun defenses outside all game. They thrive on short/medium crossing routes with the occasional deep shot. Green is a unique big bodied weapon and LSU needs to move him around more to find matchups.
Defense looked REALLY good. DL was dominant and the LBs and secondary were flying around making plays. CBB has his system in and the guys are playing well. Didn’t like the way they gave up that short yardage TD, but they locked in after that.
CBK needs to take the points in big games, especially in that situation before half. If the defense doesn't shut Clemson down the second half that game goes very differently.

My biggest takeaway is I think this team gained the trust of their coaches which is huge when you want teams to be player led.
Defense is legit, talent everywhere and they want to hit. Offense will continue to improve and running game will improve as we continue to show that we can throw deep, but I do have concerns about HB2 if CD goes down.
Bottom line this team HAS to make playoffs.
