Instead of a normal Sunday release, both the Coaches Poll and the AP Poll are not coming out until Tuesday due to the UNC TCU game on Monday.
The Coaches Poll will be released first between 11 and 11:30 CT on Tuesday with the AP Poll following about an hour later.

My guess is we will be ranked anywhere from #3 to #5.

3-5 is the sweet spot. Jumping Bama and Clemson are gimmies. If ND loses, that’s another gimmie. LSU should jump Texas in all honesty. Texas couldn’t even throw a forward pass. Jumping Oregon, and Georgia is a possibility.
1. Ohio St.
2. Penn St.
3. LSU
4-6 Georgia, ND (dependent on win today) Texas
7. Oregon
Miami ND will still determine a good amount of movement in polls. So a clear cut answer won’t be there until later tonight.
If Miami beats ND they won’t jump past LSU, as LSU has the better win against #4 Clemson on the road.

Past History tells me they will make us number 8 :-D

There’s no reason LSU shouldn’t be #2 with a bunch of first place votes.

This was an interesting convo i was having with a buddy after our win.
I think we SHOULD be ranked #3 behind Ohio St/Penn St, but buddy thinks Texas and GA will still be ranked ahead of us putting us at #5.
I personally think it would be dumb to have Texas ranked ahead of us considering we beat a top ranked team on the road, but I understand Texas played one of the best teams on the country at their place. It’ll be interesting to see what they do, but who really cares to be honest. The rankings this early in the season don’t mean a damn thing.
All we know is that we an elite team and should be favored in every game we play moving forward. Best defense since 2011 and I expect the offense to get better as the season progresses. We should be happy as fans.

I don't see Texas ranked ahead of us based on how their offense performed. I think all four previous top 10 teams who lost (Texas, ND, Clemson, and Bama) will be behind us. Here is my prediction:
Ohio St.
Penn St.
LSU
UGA
Oregon
For all those that say it doesn't matter, we all know the end of the year is what counts the most. But the polls are just one part of the excitement of college football in following and supporting your team throughout the year.

Miami at #5 was a little surprise.
