Don't send in the NG.

After mulling it over for a few days, I am now of the opinion that Trump shouldn't send in the NG to Chiraq, Baltimore, NY, Atlanta, etc. Get the crime rate way down in DC and keep the federal and NG presence there. Let the residents and mayors of Chiraq, Baltimore, NY, Atlanta, etc. see their high crime rate continue while DC gets safer. Let the folks wallow in their crime while it gets worse and worse until they cry UNCLE and beg for help.

DC is a different animal because the federal government has jurisdiction over DC, unlike Chicago or any other city. Also, we all have a vested interest in keeping our nation's capital safe for the representatives we send there.

On the one hand I agree; however, on the other hand I think a surge of NG to clean up these cities nationwide would prove once again that it can be done and Trump is the only one with the moxie to get it done for the benefit of everyone.

Atlanta doesn’t need the NG - Atlanta is a safe city- I live here and have never once felt unsafe

Laws need to be enforced, anyway possible.....these cities are big trouble and need help.....if the DEMS were sending the help, they would accept it!

Here’s the thing with this, if the judges let those that have been arrested go without serving time, they will just go out and commit more crimes.

I wavered back and forth on that and the thoughts in my OP. You make excellent points, however, the fact remains that those idiots who are protesting against it have such severe TDS that, even then, they would still complain and sky scream even if they could walk down Chiraq's most dangerous streets but remain safe from any crime.
