Atlas Strength Shop is great if you are into powerlifting, strongman, or just want that old school gym feel.

Just depends on what you want..

Not just the best gym in Baton Rouge but arguably the entire Gulf coast.

Sadly they are no longer in business.

Currently Beach Fitness. Gym is antiquated but has a nice indoor pool and cold plunge. Doesn’t accept Medicare as of beginning of the year.

I stopped by Atlas once by accident and absolutely shocked that Cameron was the owner.

We used to workout at the same CrossFit gym and if you would have told me he would have owned that gym I would have told you you’re full of shite.

Not hating at all, I’m happy he found his calling and like him, but dude was pretty annoying and goofy AF.

I wish that kind of gym/workout was my thing because I’d be glad to support him, but it’s not for me.

Yes, a very good family owned club well-integrated into the community, as I recall it back in the early 90s. A club you want to be a part of for life. Not quite as good as Reds in Lafayette, but still very good.

Didn't know they were closed ....or is this misinformation.........
