No matter how you spin it; 10M/ year is plenty enough money to know what the SEC’s status is on your starting safety the day before the game.

How does anyone not know this and how is it not known by the head coach?

Nah

10M/ yr to not know the status of your starting players the day before a game.

They reviewed it today.

Are you saying that all offseason the head coach was proactive on this issue?

Because they didn't know he was suspended.

If Houston didn't report it in his transfer paperwork, why would he be proactive? Further, if Houston DID report it and the compliance department missed it, why would he be proactive?

Unless you believe Kelly was told he would be suspended, and just forgot, this has nothing to do with him or the coaching staff.

Its a half of football. I talked shite back in the day about Johnny football only getting suspended a half for his money shite so why wouldn't I feel the same about this? Sure we need the guy but its not the end of the world here.

You can thank bitchass Houston/Big12/and Clemson for this.

So, nobody on the staff knew he was kicked out of that game before transferring?

Nobody on the staff saw the film?

Nobody could have assessed the risk here?

No?

Why?

Because nobody was proactive and got out in front of this issue.

Bottom fricking line.

On coach Kelly.

Like I've posted in other threads, why would they go poking around asking about a suspension if they were under the impression there wasn't one?

Why would they want the NCAA to look into it?

Hate is a strong word.

Do I believe he underwhelms game 1?

Absolutely.

And obviously this will be no different.

Players are often suddenly unavailable.

Coaches adjust.

Until Wednesday all reports were that it was an Unsportsmanlike penalty which doesn't require the kid to sit. It is that easy.

Don't overcomplicate it to support your preconceived notions.

Hated him when he was at Notre Dame. My feelings didn’t change just because he became our coach.

Majority on this board hated him
