I'll be there in a few weeks. I have heard the sentiment towards all foreigners in general has gotten a bit hot. They are fed up with migrants, but also the overtourism as well in some places

Spent a couple years there. As long as you make an attempt to follow their rules and respect their culture you will be fine.

Who’s trying to dump migrants into Japan?

I’m not familiar with the political landscape there. I don’t see their culture accepting a globalist agenda.

Spent two years of my life in Japan. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. And Japanese women love American men

Been working on that quite a bit, including trying to learn some basic japanese to help in situations.

I've also printed up some cards for taxi drivers in japanese with various addresses we may need, and for restaurants that say in japanese that I have a reservation etc in case needed.

Japan is a great nation. Very smart, hard-working people. They also have a highly homogeneous population which exempts them from the kind of problems Europe and America have.

India. I wish I was joking but I’m not.. NHK link below:

quote:

Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru has held a summit with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in Tokyo. They confirmed that they will bolster cooperation in broad areas including security, economy and people-to-people exchanges……

Regarding person-to-person exchanges, they agreed to aim for such exchanges involving over 500,000 people over the next five years, including 50,000 from India to Japan.

NHK

Japans birthrate also just a new all time low. Sad to see.
