Switching from steel to graphite iron shafts

I currently have Srixon Zx4 MK 2 with modus 105 stiff shaft. Really have improved my game in the last year. Looking to upgrade to some ZXi 5 irons. Which graphite shaft would be similar to what I currently have? Hoping to get something a little lighter.

I switched to axiom 105 shafts. They are great, but expensive.

This is going to be a tough one to recommend simply because the Modus line tend to feel a bit weak to flex.
Depending on your skill level, you may just want to roll with a stock option that is graphite and keep the weight about the same for ease of transitioning.
I'd strongly suggest going and hitting some of the premium options in a bay first and see if you notice much difference compared to a stock graphite offering. I've played a lot of the premium graphite shaft options and they all do something a little different. SteelFibers are my favorite but it's extremely important to find the right bend profile and flex as they can get stout.

I would definitely go test the iron/shaft combo before you buy. I wouldn't just take the word of people who say this or that is good, you might be better off with what you have, you never know until you test it out. Graphite or the hybrid steel/graphite shafts are expensive, so I'd want to try it out before I'd make that investment.

I put a LA A series Low 105x in play because I like a lighter shaft and the feel of graphite. Check out their shafts. They’re starting to get a good following on tour.

I had them in an old set of Srixons. Loved them.

i've got these in a set of Mizuno 925 Forged irons. 95g. Absolutely love these shafts - they are lighter but feel just as stiff as my 115g Oban shafts in my old Titleist irons.

When I switched the lightness blew me away. I had to add lead tape to new heads. Buyer beware

Lot of good graphite options in that weight range these days.
MMT 105 is another good one. I've been tempted to switch myself after hitting the Mizuno 925 Forged 7 iron with the 105S last time I was in the local mom and pop golf shop.

supposedly they play stiffer than marked but of course YMMV

If he's comparing them to the Oban CT's then those also play stiffer.
I really wish the golf world would all agree to come up with a metric for stiffness.
