They technically got cut when they hired Kellen as he brought in a new team of scouts. It wasn't a full restaffing, but the articles about it said it was a significant change.
I don't know if that means 25%, 33%, 50+%.

Good previous scouts were terrible and responsible for some pretty bad 1st/2d rd pocks over last 5-6 yrs, which definitely set franchise back

You can look on the Saints site and see the scouting department. I don’t see any new guys, actually we have a ton of long tenured guys. Probably need some fresh blood after seeing this

It was about 40%. The problem still is the four people at the top.

I remember after the 2017 draft everyone wanted Ireland to replace Loomis...
Whether you want to replace Loomis or not, it may be time to replace Ireland either way. He is the most responsible for the direction of our college scouting and for years relied too heavily on RAS.
I'll take a wait and see approach for a couple of years to see if it was more Allen's input vs Ireland's that was fricking us up, but if things don't start changing Ireland definitely needs to go, and if it's obvious he needs to go and doesn't then Loomis needs to go.

I know he was responsible for meddling with the offense at times.

When are you guys going to realize that scouts scout all players, regardless of the system. It's up to the staff to pick the ones they feel they can work with.
The same scouting staff put together the reports for the 2025 draft that put together all the other drafts.
I bet the damn scouting department is celebrating the fact that we finally have coaches that can fricking read their reports and make good choices.
