U.S. Open Men's Final - Alcaraz defeats Sinner for title

Play begins today. It looks like coverage rotates between ESPN, ESPN2, and ABC. Today is ABC from 12-3 eastern, then ESPN2 the rest of the day. Anybody going this year, please check in with your experiences. When I went two years ago, the lines were miserable. They let too many people on the grounds.
Sinner and Alcaraz are dominating the men's game, can anyone else win? Sinner appeared to have fitness issues in Cincinnati. I still think Zverev has a major title in him. Shelton is playing really good defense now, although I'm not sure he can quite grind with the top guys. Is Novak washed? He plays a really good counterpuncher tonight, Tien +500 may be worth a shot. Medvedev is in free fall, he might get bounced by Bonzi tonight.
Men's Draw.

Took The Field vs Sinner at -140 the other day. So I know who I'll be pulling for.
Though might be a bad bet considering the gift of a draw he got.

I was going to go the other way and put a grand on Sinner +100, but the fitness issues concern me. The draw is bottom heavy, though.
I put $250 on Sabalenka +275. It's a little higher than that now. I feel like it's good value on the best hardcourt player in the world. Rybakina could be an issue in the quarters.

Who’s the hot American chick that her dad is a billionaire?

Emma Navarro.
Jessica Pegula's parents own the Bills and Sabres. I don't think she's hot, but she seems pretty cool for a rich girl.

I feel lucky to have caught the Eala vs Tauson match. Great tennis. Eala becomes the first Filipino to win a grand slam match. 13 -11 in a 3rd set tiebreaker.

There were two WTA melt classics today. Tauson was up 5-1 in the third against Eala. Eala got it to a breaker. Eala goes up 8-4, Tauson fights off three match points, but Eala wins it 13-11.
I also saw this:
I also saw this:
quote:
Danilovic blew a painful seven match points before losing to Uchijima. She was up 40-0 when serving for it at 5-3 and later had 0-40 when Uchijima was serving at 5-6. (Would this be called a Double Sinner?) She then lost another MP when 9-8 up in the tiebreak. Danilovic then double-faulted when match point down! To her credit, Danilovic did not eat her racket at the conclusion of the match.
quote:
And she also come back from 6-1 down in the match breaker to take it down to the wire!

I can't decide who has better legs. Navarro or Bencic. I've thought about this a lot too

I was pretty zoned in on Emma's legs today. Bencic has a good body, but I never thought she is that pretty for whatever reason.
Foe should have worn this last week since it looks like a Bengals helmet.

He’s won 8 of the last 9 games since Bonzi had match point. Unbelievable turn around.
