Local ESPN radio show content

Putting this on The Rant since all local shows are LSU centric, as they should be.
Done my share of sports betting.
But is anyone else annoyed at the preponderance of betting conversations and interviews of tout services on some of the shows, especially Hanny & Ott?
I get that betting has big money to spend. And legalized online betting & local sports books has expanded the interest to a larger population.
But during a time I used to hear LSU and Saints analysis and opinions and news now I hear, until I turn it off and listen to music or business news, "who we got today", "which horses are good at Pimlico", "what;s the line on the Australian cricket team".
Everyone else ok with this? Or should Gordy pull back on the tout service "advertisements", cause that's all they are!

Ott is a gambling guy so I’d suggest not listening to him. They other shows don’t really talk a ton of gambling unless it’s a specific segment so I’m not really sure what you’re referring to.

No one will ever make me believe that there is enough of a demand for a 2 hour show about gambling every day. No one around here is gambling on mid week NBA games or MLB games or tennis except maybe one or two degenerates who are addicts.

Ott is the only one I can’t stand on the entire crew. He is quite knowledgeable but is a pompous arse. He talks way too much random betting for a local show. Hanny is one of the most easy to listen to out of the whole lineup but always gets stuck Ott.

I rarely listen to them, I am so tired of the gambling conversations and Scone’s continued focus on NIL. I could care less about either.

Hanny has been my favorite local radio guy for years and I will not listen to anything he is on with Ott. All Ott does is insinuate how smart he is and how much he knows and who he knows. You never hear Hanny doing any of that.

That’s a very naive worldview. With that said, Ott & Hanna’s show is not for me.

Thats only the Ott and Hanny show. Ott is a degenerate gambler and likes to talk ball. I enjoy their show

We have the same thing in central Mississippi area. We have some very good sports shows in this area. Unfortunately, over the last few years. Every one of them has become more about the gambling thstn the actual game.
