My sister asked me to check it out. They have things that people are winning cheap. Right?
SO I register and begin to see items I would actually buy. Then I decided to watch these auctions until either it ended or until I have had enough.
What I saw was pretty shady/shitty stuff. I'm watching right now an auction in which the same 7 "Bidders" are bidding on the item. What's shady about that?
It's always in the same order. I have watched that rotation for 30 minutes while grilling for game day. I can literally tell you who will be the highest bidder next. Because it's always in the same order.
That's not the way auctions work. Those are bots that are programed.
Now I am watching to see if one drops out and how long that takes. Maybe a pattern will develop that people can put to use.

I got this $500 mixer for $47. What they don't tell you is I made 512 bids at a dollar a piece. So I actually overpaid.

That's actually illegal with real auction houses. It is the tech equivalent of human "buy bidders".
