Morning all! Hope yall have a great day. If anyone out there knows how to rid a pool of very heavy tannin contamination (from a fallen pecan tree) let me know. Water is black. I'm coming to the conclusion I am going to have to drain the pool.

Shock the hell out of it. Tannins are from organics, chlorine hypochlorite will combat that.

What did you use to shock it? Likely needs a SLAM.
