They had a little bit of a down season last year under first year head coach Tom Anthony, losing in the first round of the D2 playoffs.
How are we thinking the Gorillas will look this year? They are preseason #10 so getting some respect coming into the year.

My wife went to Pitt State from 2012-2016, that's all I have to contribute.

Valdosta State defeated them for the 2004 D-II National Championship.
That has nothing to do with how either team will do this year, but I like mentioning it nonetheless. :)

I saw Pitt State beat Texas A&M-Kingsville in the 1995 D2 Semifinals. 28-25 in OT. Helluva game.
