How much you putting down?

I think Clemson wins. I want LSU to win on Defense and win the game but Clemson wins

LSU is literally heading into the perfect storm. If LSU wins, we go undefeated. Clemson got 17 returning guys. They are loaded.

Maybe Clemson catches our virus of screwing up first game.

You really don’t know how teams show up on game one.

It’s Brian’s time to prove the national sentiment wrong.

In the age of the transfer portal, is this a significant metric?

yes, if you understand football, chemistry and cohesion trumps anything transfer portal.

I'll probably put $100 on the Tigers.

I hear the Clemson hype. I hear the question marks for LSU. I think the pressure is on Clemson more than LSU. Clemson is supposed to win - huge returning workload, at home, etc. We will punch them in the mouth, so let's see how they respond. I think LSU will overwhelm them with athleticism and aggression. It may be a slugfest, but we're built to stand up for 4 quarters and go in for the kill down the stretch.

Not anymore. These types of trends and metrics are obsolete now.

LSU ML +145
LSU to make the CFP +116
11+ wins +380
Natty +1400

There was a lot of hype for LSU the last few years in openers and we all know how that went. Just saying…

You missed the point, almighty ball-knower.

Ohio State spent $20mil in the portal and won the Natty.
Clemson returns 17 from a 9-3 team. Returning starters doesn’t mean as much as it used to.

I know what you tried to say.

I'll take 17 returning starters all day and every single year. frick Ohio State. The same Clemson group last yr lost 1 more game than that 20 million did. Ill take chemistry and returning players all day.

if lsu can actually play defense, we can have a chance but if its the same defense we've seen for the last 10 years, Clemson gonna curb stomp lsu.

Yea im not really understanding why he’s trying to say that

You could make an argument for both sides - grabbing studs out of the portal is good, but so is returning a group of guys who are used to playing together

Weird hill to die on
