Slough is a frickin rookie. Quit making thes stupid snap judgements. How many rookie QBs are expected to make up for other deficiencies.

Gotta keep giving Shough the Reins for the rest of the year… every single game… gotta know what you have in the player !!!

You have no other choice after your decision to spend the 40th pick on him.

No turning back now !!

Has he shown you anything to say he'd be better than that?

He could be in college for 10 years, it ain't the NFL.

Most rookie QB’s that are drafted high and expected to start. Not saying it’s right, but it’s true. Most teams that are starting rookie QB’s aren’t very good to begin with.

but he looks no better than some of the QBs that only had 3 years in college... he has a A LOT of football experience, so you'd think he'd look much more competent, even as a rookie... yet, he's not much better and doesn't really give you anything that Rattler can't give you... that's the frustrating part of the pick... so we used a top 50 pick on a guy that is no better than our prior year 5th round pick...

place keepers

what a horrible use of high draft capital to use the #40 pick on a "place holder"...

absolutely moronic, but it does seem to be that we have apparently used it on Shough, who is at best, a career back up in the NFL

Nuss will be 24 next year. Too old.

I need an Anthony Richardson type- sucked his entire career, but is like 20 when he’s drafted. So I can hold onto hope for 5 seasons.

how much time are YOU willing to give our very soon to be 26 year old rookie QB to "figure it out"?

I think you can give him his first year and hope maybe somewhere in this season it happens. If he’s playing poorly year 2 it’s not a good sign.
