KOOLAID:

[DRUNK]

I know some football, but I’m not an expert. And nobody gives a frick about my feels. But . . .

I’m getting 2019 vibes.

So I’m asking the real football baws. Am I stupidly setting myself up for disappointment?

To set the standard, I’d be way happy with 10-2 and a playoff appearance.

Honestly, BK has no excuse this year. This defense is way better than what we had since 2019 and the offensive potential sky is the limit. It's as good a chance for LSU since 2019. There's no excuse on talent. If LSU doesn't approach the playoffs this year that's on BK and staff. There's nothing else he has left to fall on the sword for him.

No. But it sounds like our defense is.

I’m not saying we win at all. I’m saying we are in it like we haven’t been since 2019.

That’s certainly my thinking.

The opener losses have eroded the trust a bit.

Don’t settle for just good. Since I’m just a fan and I know this team has playoff potential, I’ll be happy if they win the whole damn thing.

I like your optimism. I too am optimistic but cautiously optimistic. Nuss aint Joe Burrow though. Also there are at least 4 other teams with as good and maybe a little better talent than LSU. Lastly Nuss can have a game where he can look average. However I also think we will see the best Nuss this year and our defense should be salty. I also think our run game will be improved. Gonna be a fricking dog fight this year, buckle up.

It’s mid August. We all buy in every year

I still remember reading how the 2020 team could be just as good or better than 19

If Rancho La Puerta is in then I’m definitely fricking in.

why does it feel like I have read the same version of this post 1000 times already on this board within the last month?

Because they want people to know they don’t believe in BK

This is 100% a 9-3 team. At best.

It depends on how Nuss is going to be. If he is like 2024 yes you will be disappointed.

I can confidently say Nuss is somewhere between Burrow and Mauck/Flynn.

And if burrow would have been the same as 2018 and jd would have been the same as 2022 we would have been disappointed. Whats your point?

I'm buying in also. Not sure if they will be ready for Clemson but I think they run the table after that. GEAUX TIGERS
