Mine is 5/10 .

Hopelessly optimistic but ready for the worst.
5 straight losses to open the season will do that you

I believe our roster stacks up ahead of theirs. The thing that concerns me is coaching and being on the road. Will sloan’s scheme truly be more dynamic? It sounds like that has been a focus this offseason, and we saw some very cool wrinkles in the Texas Bowl. Being in that environment is going to be extremely tough. I’d put my confidence at a very biased 6.

LSU has something to prove. And the horses are in the barn on defense. Defense TRAVELS. LSU wins this game 31-23.

Before listening to Blake Baker today 5/10, after, 8/10.

He’s got something special and he knows it.

BK needs to win a big game, on the road. Here’s a great opportunity. If he can’t, then all the pessimism will be valid.

I think our defense is back to being a standard LSU defense. This is the first year that I know we have the horses on both sides of the ball to win it all and believe it (I was confident in ‘23, but Matt House ruined that wet dream quickly)

Very low. History will tell u we lose to lesser teams In neutral site games. Much less equal to superior at their home field……Single digits easily

THIS iS NOT A TROLL POST:

This game is going to come down to the line of scrimmage I think Clemson has the advantage because of the multiple project 1 rounders on defense

My confidence lsu wins this game is about 33.333%

Things I’m confident in:
-We will be able to contain their run game
-Baker will pressure Klubnik, especially in passing situations
-We will get chunk plays with our speed and weapons and with their secondary being “meh”

Things I’m not confident in:
-Will we be able to run the ball with consistency and keep their D on their heels?
-Can we protect Nuss from getting harassed too much?
-Even with our improved defense, can we contain their trio of WRs for four quarters?

…So I don’t know.

If it was a neutral field I would feel really good about this game. I think our defense will be able to make stops and our offense is more than capable of taking advantage of extra possessions. The problem will be that the environment is going to make communication very difficult if things start going poorly for our offense. If we can somehow get off to a good start and keep the crowd out of it then I think we win and win convincingly. If we get behind and are fighting a tough team and an insane crowd on opening weekend it could get ugly.
